1. Introduction

Welcome to FindMyStudio. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the FindMyStudio platform and all reservations of creative studios, music rehearsal suites, recording facilities, podcast rooms, dance studios, and event spaces across Sri Lanka. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Definitions

• "FindMyStudio" refers to the online platform, website, and services provided.
• "Customer / Creative" refers to any verified user booking a studio space.
• "Studio Host / Owner" refers to any verified host listing and operating a creative studio space.
• "Deposit" refers to the 40% advance booking deposit paid online via PayHere to secure a slot.
• "Venue Balance" refers to the remaining 60% booking value payable directly to the host at the venue.

3. User Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking or register a studio on the platform.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Studio hosts must maintain active, accurate details regarding hourly rates, room capacity, and available gear.

4. Bookings & Deposit-Based Payment Structure

FindMyStudio operates on a transparent, split-payment structure designed to protect both creatives and studio owners:

5. Cancellation, Refunds & No-Shows

All bookings are governed by FindMyStudio's Unified Global Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation > 48 hours before session: 100% refund of the advance deposit.
• Cancellation between 24 – 48 hours before session: 50% refund of the advance deposit.
• Cancellation < 24 hours before session: 0% deposit refund (forfeited to the studio host).
• Host-Initiated Cancellation: 100% full refund credited back to the customer immediately.
• Customer No-Show: 100% deposit is forfeited if the customer does not arrive within 30 minutes of start time.

6. Studio Host Payouts & Commission

FindMyStudio deducts a 10% platform commission on the online deposit portion for hosting and marketing services. Host payout balances from online deposits are accumulated in the host ledger and released via bank transfer (CEFTS/SLIPS) by administrative review upon session completion.

7. Dispute Resolution

Both customers and studio hosts may raise verified dispute flags for sessions with severe unforeseen issues (e.g. power outages, inaccessible premises). FindMyStudio support arbitrates disputes within 3 to 5 business days and may issue partial or full deposit adjustments based on evidence submitted.
